The Walt Disney World Resort has a broad range of dining options available to it's guests. If you're on the move in the parks and want to hit as many attractions as possible you can grab and go a pre-made snack or sandwich, or stop by a "quick service" restaurant catching a gulp without a reservations before heading out to ride some more of the world famous attractions.
However if you're looking to slow down a bit there are restaurants that are worth the extra planning effort of advance dining reservations, the extra time at the table, and possible extra expense. These eateries, replete with elaborate theming, extend the entertainment experience of the park to mealtime.
Walt Disney World's Table Service Restaurants offer a relaxing meal in ambiance reflecting a different time or place. It's certainly is an entertainment experience worth the time sitting around the table. From the fine dining and romance that's offered at the stunning Victoria and Alberts to the multi-cultural flavors of Epcot's World Showcase there's something that everyone will enjoy. In addition to dining in the Parks, Disney's resort Hotels offer some of the best meals on property with family favorite such as the Whispering Canyon Cafe and 'Ohana.
If you're looking for a meal that's even more special, some of the Table Service restaurants also serve up entertainment acts along with meals. At the Polynesian Resort the Spirit of Aloha comes alive with a luau that transports you across the waves to experience the culture of the South Pacific Islands. At Fort Wilderness it's a rootin' tootin' good time as guest hoop and holler through the Stage Show of the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.
Another dining option adds on the purchase a meal as part of a package that provides preferred seating at no extra cost for a signature entertainment performance like the Candlelight Processional at Epcot, or "Fantasmic!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
There are so many wonderful options our friends over at the Disney Food Blog are fond of saying that "Food IS a theme park." While I can only hope to scratch the surface of Disney Dining, the Disney Food Blog writers and editors are putting out new information on all the delightful options every day of the year. No matter where you chose to eat, Disney's dining options offer culinary experiences that can round out your vacation and enhance your overall experience.

My favorite table service is at the Brown Derby. I love the elegance of the restaurant and must have a fabulous Cobb salad each year.

We live in a small, rural town and although we have a couple good restaurants, it gets routine eating at them. The plethora of dining choices is one of the reasons we vacation at WDW. The signature dining experiences we've had, have been the best; Artist Point and Flying Fish. Actually, I would be remiss not to mention Sanaa, which is really great, too. We are looking forward to dining at California Grill at the end of the month.
