Tangled Tops Charts as Highest Grossing Thanksgiving Weekend Opening

Disney's newest animated film has won its place in history with the highest-grossing Thanksgiving weekend opening on record!

"Tangled," which centers on a coming-of-age story featuring well-known character Rapunzel and her suitor, Flynn Rider, opened to an $11.5 million day, and is expected to make upwards of $65 million this weekend.

With "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part I" as its only real competition (beating out "Tangled" this weekend, even though "Potter" opened last week), "Tangled" will likely will likely shoot to the top of Disney's animated films in profits.
