Tasty Hand Scooped Ice Cream at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

On hot Florida day (because there's bound to be a few of those in September) there's one sweet treat that just about everyone has on his or her mind, I'm talking about Ice Cream. And sitting in the shadow of the Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a little shop that specializes it in delicious, hand scooped ice cream. Down at the end of Sunset Boulevard you'll find it beneath a stripped awning and a neon sign reading "Hollywood Scoops Ice Cream."

Hollywood Scoops for Delicious Ice Cream

The quick service shack is serving up hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes and ice cream cookie sandwiches for all (there are even sugar free and fat free versions available) who step up to its window. The classic hard pack dessert comes in several flavors that include chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, or butter pecan.

The Apple Crisp a' la Mode is a fan favorite with its "cinnamon apples topped with old-fashioned vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and streusel." If you're looking to add a little adventure into the mix though, give it a shot with the Butter Pecan ice cream. Delicious! There's also a righteous Brownie Sundae smothered in decadent hot fudge.

The lines can be long for this tasty snack, but they move fairly quickly so don't let that deter you. If you're looking for an icy cold snack to grab and keep on moving this may be just the place - be sure to pick up some extra napkins.
