The Invictus Games Orlando 2016 start in less than 100 days and fans are now able to pre-register for tickets. The tickets for the games are not yet on sale but a request line has opened where fans can indicate their interest in purchasing tickets.
The Invictus Games are an international adaptive sporting event for injured active duty and veteran service members. The games were founded by Britain's Prince Harry after he visited the U.S. Department of Defense Warrior Games.
The first Invictus Games were hosted in London in 2014 and featured an opening message from First Lady Michelle Obama, and medal presentations by Dr. Jill Biden. In 2014 more than 400 competitors from 13 nations competed for medals in nine sports.
The second Invictus Games on May 8-12 will include more than 500 competitors from 15 nations competing in 10 sports including archery, cycling, indoor rowing, power lifting, track and field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, and more.
