We Disney fans have become pretty used to construction walls over the past few years. I don't think any of us like them, but we usually love what's there when they come down! Over at the Magic Kingdom Park Tomorrowland is getting ready for a pretty exciting addition the new TRON attraction is now under construction.

The attraction, which will be will be located in a new area next to Space Mountain, is based on the very popular TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland. Slated to open in 2021 this thrill ride will be sending riders into the digital frontier to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.

Of course, all magic comes with a price, and as we eagerly await the fun new attraction, that price is disruptions due to ongoing construction. Starting in December, the Walt Disney World Railroad will go on hiatus. While grand-circle tours of the Park via rail won't be happening, one of the trains will remain parked at the Main Street U.S.A. station for Guests to get photos.

The Tomorrowland Speedway will also feel the pinch of progress and close for a time in 2019, so the track can be adjusted. The attraction will reopen in the summer of 2019.
