A live-action version of the classic fairy tale Cinderella is headed to theaters next spring, and Walt Disney Studios recently debuted the trailer for the film which brings to life classic images from the 1950 animated film.
Cinderella is directed by Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh (Thor, Hamlet) and stars Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine) as the evil stepmother and Academy Award nominee Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother.
The film also stars Lily James (Downton Abbey) as Cinderella and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) as the Prince.
The story of Cinderella is a familiar one, and in the film Ella (Lily James) finds herself at the mercy of her stepmother and evil stepsister after her father passes away unexpectedly. Ella is determined to honor her mother's dying words to "have courage and be kind."

Cinderella opens in theaters on March 13, 2015.

I'm really looking forward to this one, and Richard Madden as the Prince! Hubba-hubba.
