Speaking of Disney Resorts, the Disney Springs neighborhood will be getting kid on the block in the form of Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista. This new resort is expected to become Drury Hotel's biggest project to date including a resort-style pool, splash pad, poolside cantina bar and grill, grab-and-go marketplace, a kitchen and bar concept, and a wide range of complimentary amenities Drury Hotels are know for including the fabulous hot breakfast buffet. Look for this great new resort coming in 2021!
Over at Disney Springs you can sprinkle your holiday table with a mini sampler trio of Christmas cupcakes! Red Velvet, Gingerbread, and Chocolate Peppermint cupcakes from Sprinkles Bakery are a tasty way to spread some cheer.
A little bird told us that permits have been filed to expand interior seating and add restrooms to Chicken Guy in Disney Springs. We're certainly glad they've gotten the message that this is needed and look forward to this expansion of services.
That fan favorite soda shop, Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club Resort will re-open after a refurbishment on December 26th. The a fresh new look embraces a timeless charm with beachy details and subtle shades of teal, rose, almond, and blue. In addition to the new decor, guests will find new menu items including plant based options, cookie fries, and the return of the Kitchen Sink sundae.
For those of you looking forward to 2020, it's just around the corner! Walt Disney World logo merchandise sporting the 2020 design has begun popping up throughout retail locations. Take a look at the New Year's design HERE and HERE TOO!
