Every day across the Walt Disney World Resort property more and more holiday cheer is spreading. While the Magic Kingdom is already in full holiday fun mode, this week guests found more merry magic in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and at Disney Springs. Let's take a look at what else has been going on in the wonderful world of Disney.
The holiday hand puppets are out at Disney's Animal Kingdom and goodness are they cute! According to the Disney Food Blog puppets are accompanied by musicians scattered around Discovery Island so that guests can enjoy the festive and unique holiday tunes while they experience the magic of these beautiful puppets!
Heads up Gingerbread Showpiece fans, there's an all new display to visit this holiday season. Disney's Wilderness Lodge has a Gingerbread Cabin inspired by turn of the century National Park Lodges. The cute cabin includes 5 hidden mickeys for guests to find.
New Year's Eve Celebrations will be taking place throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. If you don't want to spend New Years Eve in the Parks, several of the Disney Resort Hotels will be holding special events as well.
The new Disney+ streaming service launched this week! Now Disney fans will be able to access all the goodies of the Disney Vault right along side spectacular new programming in one place. That includes nearly 500 films and 7,500 previously aired episodes of television from across the worlds of Disney.
One last bit of fun Disney information for this week. For the seventh consecutive year, Disney Cruise Line has earned top spots in the U.S. News & World Report's Best Cruise Lines rankings, with first place awards in the Best Cruise Lines for Families and Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean categories. These prestigious rankings celebrate excellence in the cruise industry and identify the best cruise lines for a variety of traveler types in a range of regions. Way to go DCL!
