Much of the Disney news this week focused around Hurricane Dorrian, but I'm happy to say that the Walt Disney World Resort escaped the worst of the damage when it took a turn north before making landfall on the U.S. mainland. It is with a much lighter heart I'm happy to report on everything else going on like the Eland calf that was born at Animal Kingdom. The baby was named Doppler for its post-storm arrival time, and is bonding well with mama.
Dates have been announced for the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Guests will be able to enjoy a glimpse into the world of fine, culinary, and performing arts when they visit Epcot Theme Park from January 17-February 24, 2020. The festival includes live concerts and art performances, workshops, art signings and much more!

Florida Residents will be able to get a discount on enjoying all the good things to come with a brand new Seasonal Flex Ticket. The Florida Resident Seasonal Flex Ticket offers two options: a 3-Day Ticket and a 4-Day Ticket. There are some block out dates but the tickets are able to be used on non-consecutive days .
We've recently gotten our food truck fix in sharing reviews of the Mac & Cheese Truck as well as the 4Rivers Barbacoa Cantina Truck. Both of which we would return to for more discovery of fabulous flavors. While over at the Disney Food Blog they were talking about the arrival of the latest Disney Springs addition, the Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet Food Truck.
