Happy weekend and welcome to our Saturday news round-up! We have a lot of news to report including an new holiday-season dessert party and the launch of the all-new Soarin' Around the World at Epcot. Let's check out what's been going on!
Soarin' Around the World launched this week at Epcot's The Land pavilion and the queue was out the door! The new film uses state-of-the-art camera equipment developed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The result? One of the highest resolution cameras in the world.
Following the tragic death of a two-year-old who was attacked by an alligator at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney is putting up temporary barriers along the shoreline at both the Grand Floridian and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. New signs warming of alligators and other wildlife are also being erected.
The Magic Kingdom has eliminated more smoking locations for guests in the theme park. Guests are now only allowed to smoke in two locations: one in Storybook Circus and the other in Frontierland.
Reservations are now open for the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom.
And finally, while you might not be able to make it Shanghai Disneyland you can still check out a brand new exhibit about the resort at Epcot. The Shanghai Disney Resort exhibit is located in Epcot's China pavilion.
