Walt Disney World Resort Raises Price of Parking at Theme Parks

Disney guests can add parking to the list of price increases at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The price of parking at the four theme parks was recently increased by $2. This takes the price for cars to $17, while campers are $18 and buses or tractor-trailers now cost $21 to park.

Guests at a Walt Disney World hotel receive complimentary parking at the theme parks. Annual and premium passholders and Disney Premiere passholders also park for free.

If you use the valet parking at Disney hotel that price has also increased from $15 to $20 per day. Of course self-parking is still free.

The increase in parking follows the recent increase in price of a one-day ticket to the four theme parks.

In February it was announced that a one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom would cost $99 for guests ages 10 and up, which was a $4 increase. One-day tickets for the other three theme parks increased in price from $90 to $94.

That was the second ticket price increase in less than a year.

I am so sad to hear that The Disney Corporation is in such dire straights as to need to raise the cost of everything.
Seems they will be losing even more money when their loyal passholders stop being able to afford to come to the parks.
