If you haven't been paying attention around your hometown, pumpkin season is in full swing! The fine bakers at Walt Disney World have noticed too and the shelves have been stocked with tasty treats that embrace the flavors of fall. For Americans there always seems to be something comforting about pumpkin, with memories of family times together, where better to share that than on a Walt Disney World vacation.
Let's start with a stop in one of the places with a strong connection to Halloween in American Folklore. Now through November 1st, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in the Magic Kingdom has a delicious Pumpkin Waffles beings served with vanilla ice cream and spooky Halloween sprinkles all day long. Plus - the waffles are Mickey shaped, which may (or may not) make them taste even better.
Over at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort the Kona Cafe is a popular place to get a hearty breakfast before heading out to the Parks. Currently they are serving up some wonderful Pumpkin Pancakes with pumpkin-flavored cream cheese and served with your choice of bacon, ham or sausage for breakfast through Oct. 31. I highly suggest ordering up a press pot of the 100% Kona Coffee to wash them down.
Where else will you find this favorite fall flavor?
Of course, if you're craving a classic you can always head to Creature Comforts, the Main Street Bakery, Trolley Care Cafe, or Fountianview Cafe for your beloved Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte as well.
Remember, many of these fabulous flavors will be around for a limited time only, so get them while you can. Where will you be getting your pumpkin fix this fall? Leave a comment and let us know!
