Disney Hires New Head of Casting

Disney got a new head of casting when it hired Randi Hiller to fill the slot of VP of casting. The post had been vacant since February's layoffs.

Hiller, an independent casting director with more than twenty years of experience, has worked on Marvel pictures in the past, including "The Avengers," "Thor," and "Iron Man 2." Her resume also includes a few past Disney pics - "Miracle" and "Race to Witch Mountain." She is also noted for her work on the Oscar-winner "Crash."

Guardians of the Galaxy Spoiler-Free Review

Marvel's newest cinematic property has opened to its first summer weekend with over $94 million in US box office sales alone, and I for one could not be happier. Guardians of The Galaxy Sneak Peek at Disney's Hollywood Studios

As we get closer and closer to the First Marvel/Disney movie that doesn't revolve around the heroes we know best, i.e. The Avengers, we seem to get more and more tastes of what we can expect. This week is no exception as Disney Parks reports a sneak peak coming to their locations. Starting July 4th, just in time for the big Independence day celebrations, Disney parks will showcase a special sneak peek of The Guardians of the Galaxy before they release August 1st.

The Underlying Story Arc Of The Disney Marvel Movies

The world of comic books is all about continuity; a hero does this thing in his book which in turn may affect several other books over the course of months or even years moving forward.
