17 Day Mark!!!

Is there anything I should be doing right now to make sure everything goes smoothly?

I just got our luggage tags and DME booklet in the mail from our TA a few days ago..has all the "Magic Your Way" discounts in it. Anddd...daily itinerary's all set.

If anyone's curious what i've been up to...check out this thread lol...

For the two of us who were too young to remember our last trip to WDW, I was hoping we could get some tips and suggestions from you Disney World veterans as to anything we should be doing right now. (besides being crazy excited!!) yay

Well, if you're borderline obsessive-compulsive like me, you'll need half a dozen checklists and cheat sheets to make sure you forget NOTHING. Packing checklist - preparation checklist - catsitter instructions (okay, maybe you don't need that one) - contact info - schedule - park maps and touring plans - gee, maybe I need a checklist to make sure I haven't forgotten any of my checklists.

Pack! I am an obsessive packer. I start gathering everything we need together about 3 weeks out. Make a checklist, don't forget things like sun screen and allergy medicine.

In order for things to go smoothly... you need to do this 10 step process. Works every time...

Make sure you don't skip a step! And do the steps fully!

10. Make sure you have all your stuff together
9. You need to check what time it is once your done with step 10
8. Once your done with step 9, head outside
7. Once you have completed step 8, make sure step 7 is next
6. While doing step 7 and 6, make sure you have done 10, 9, 8.
5. With time going by now 7 and 6 is finally done, so step 5 make sure while outside, start walking down the street
4. Start screaming that you are heading to Disney World in (X) days (X is how many days you have left)
3. Once step 4 is done, make sure your at the end of the road. If not... repeat step 4 till your at the end of the road.
2. Once you have made sure step 3 is done, you must start running backwards while saying "!syad (X) ni dlroW yensiD ot gnidaeh mI" (tfel evah uoy syad ynam woh si X)
1. Once step 2 is done and you have finished steps 10-2... think to yourself... wow... did I really do all of this? But I'm heading to Disney!

Well Melissa...I've been ordered by our TA to take photos on Facebook, so since our TA is friends with me on Facebook, I'll just take photos as we go and post them straight to Facebook so she can see how we're doing and what we're up to lol

PS: I'm going to post them via Instagram. So if any of you guys have Instagram on your iPhones or Android phones, follow me! (my name on there is "theJacobian") and you'll see everything I post!
