Are you into Disney vinylmation?

I haven't "gotten it" yet (the Vinylmation concept), but I am kinda curious! We saw a Vinylmation box swap thingie at a shop in MK when we were there, and we did stop by the Vinylmation shop in DTD, where I took a pic of this:

But as Joe said, the last thing I need is another Disney-something to start collecting!

I tend to think that my Disney pins fill the "collector" need in me and, that empties my wallet enough that I do not need anything else draining it.

I havent been since the mania started..but I would probably by one or two..but I gotta admit..I hate clutter so I wouldn't buy too many.

I think they're kind of cool, but they also feel kind of "forced" to me. What I mean by that is that it seems like someone at Disney said "We make a lot of money off of pins and people love the collectible/trading aspect. Come up with something else like that!" That being said I like collectible things so I think they're kind of neat.

I think they're kind of cool. Anything that's a tad unique floats my boat. That's why we like Vettelover so much!

you can see the Villains ones at www.disneystore.com because they are a Disney Store exclusive! We have our own artists creating our lines for the stores. I think that's pretty cool...
I only have a couple that I own.. I think they're mostly weird looking, but there's a couple I want. But most of the sets are blind buys so you dont know what you get (to encourage trading). Some have the windows on the box so you see what you buy but what fun is that I guess...

But I'll be honest, if I didnt get my discount, I probably wouldnt buy any.

I love them, but I don't want to be a hard core collector, so the blind buying has kept me from purchasing any. Having said that, the Villains have been the first thing to tempt me. They are so cute!

It's too bad they're not a bit more portable.

I have seen some that people make (I guess they sell blank ones) and those things are adorable. A friend of mine made one entirely out of pink diamonds (fake)..I loooved it!

Anyone who used to watch Disney shows after school in the late 80's early 90's will dig these.

I like the Nightmare Before Christmas figures! My husband would probably kill me if I started bringing more collectibles into the house.

I don't collect any of the Vinylmation figures but I love collecting the vinylmation pins for pin trading

new to the board and have never done this before. I was reading all your comments on the vinylmations. I gotta admit, They sucked me right into them. However, i just collect the ones i can see which are the 3" Big eyes vinylmations and i also started collecting the 3D pins. There are some that are really cute that i may want to get but only when i can and that would be few and far between. It is something that my daughters and I do enjoy doing, so it makes it worth it.

The Vinyls have been one thing I always thought was cool, but never got into them because its like opening a pack of cards. You just dont know what you will get. One thing I can say is... if you do get one you dont want or already have. Ebay is a great place to unload them. They seem to be in demand on there.

That's probably the coolest Vinylmation I've seen. Did you order it from the Disney Store?
