ADR Day! Wohoo!

Well we are TECHNICALLY 179 days out, but since I have yet to book our arrival night hotel, I couldn't make dining reservations until today. We still got *almost* everything we wanted with only a couple of exceptions.

Friday, December 4th - No reservations as our flight doesn't land until 7:40pm

Saturday, December 5th - Turf Club 6:45pm

Sunday, December 6th - Be Our Guest lunch 10:45am, Crystal Palace 6:35pm

Monday, December 7th - Akershus 6:30pm

Tuesday, December 8th - 50s Prime Time 6:30pm

Wednesday, December 9th - Cape May Cafe 9:15am, hoping for a Candlelight Processional dinner package ADR for Coral Reef at 4:30ish

Thursday, December 10th - Be Our Guest lunch 11:55am, O'hana 6:45pm

Friday, December 11th - DTD and departure day, no ADRs...planning on Wolfgang Puck Express

We really wanted our Be Our Guest lunch to be on Sunday rather then our O'hana day when we would be stuffing ourselves to the brim, but I could only get either a 10:45am lunch or 1:55pm lunch on the 6th. 1:55pm is too late as Penny will be napping, and 10:45am is going to feel really early for us since our internal clocks will be saying 9:45am. BIL has issues eating that early in the morning, so I kept it for now just in case, but I also made an 11:55am reservation for Thursday as well that we'll probably end up going with if I can't push back our Sunday lunch time.

We were also hopping for Tony's on Sunday for dinner and I wanted a late enough reservation that it would bleed into the MVMCP time slot a bit so that we could see the snow on Main Street. However, there was not a single dinner reservation available for 6 people at Tony's that night! I thought that was a little bit weird, maybe a glitch? So I made a Crystal Palace reservation for that night instead, just in case, and will continue to watch for Tony's to open. Crystal Palace would be an ok alternative as we had already been considering this one for the Pooh characters anyways, but it got bumped in favor of Turf Club.

We're pretty happy with what we're able to get, but may still need some tweaking

Great ressies! 10:45am lunch does seem a bit early even without the time difference. What time does BOG stop serving breakfast? Do breakfast and lunch overlap at any time? Maybe you could make it brunch.

Thanks everyone! We went with a lot of character meals for the little one. I also had to stick with restaurants with more standard fare for my DH's family as they are a family full of picky eaters. I've converted DH to more exotic cuisines in the almost 9 years we've been together, but his family will not be swayed! I have to remind myself I'll be back again for places like Sanaa, Yak & Yeti, Tokyo Dining....

Thanks! I've been wanting to do Turf Club our past few trips but the logistics of getting there has continued to put it on the back burner. We're staying at Saratoga this time though so we HAD to do it!

Update: We were able to snag a 6:30pm reservation today for Tony's on the 6th so I cancelled Crystal Palace. It would have been nice to get all the Pooh characters (Penny loves Pooh!) but I was pretty concerned about having one of the last reservations of the day at Crystal Palace as I'm not sure the food would be refilled and at it's freshest at that time of day. I'm excited for Tony's though as it was our original pick, and we'll find Pooh elsewhere.
