What in your opinion is the best steak for one ddp meal credit? We are planning out ADRs and will be spending 2 credits at the California Grill and we can't really swing two signature meals.
We would love to fit a nice steak dinner into our week.
The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs hands down! YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG! And this:Chocolate Espresso Torte with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla-Port Wine Ice Cream. OH MY GOD!
Here, I'll even plan you meal:
Turf Club Signature Grilled Romaine Appetizers
Lightly-grilled Hearts of Romaine with Caesar Dressing, Balsamic Vinegar Reduction, and Roasted Cherry Tomatoes.
Grilled New York Strip
with Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes, and Blue Cheese Fondue.
Chocolate Espresso Torte
with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla-Port Wine Ice Cream.
All done!
Oh it is! It is!, want a picture?
Got to find one in my thousands of pictures
We are actually planning on the Kona Cafe as a possible option (either that or O'hana...trying to nail down if I can order O'hana bread pudding at Kona, its not on the menu but i read that they will bring it to you. But thats a question for another thread haha).
I have been dying to try the yatchsman but it is 2 credits unfortunately
Kona is very good too! I would do that in a heart beat! Great Sushi, Steak , fish, everything.
Believe mrhub when he tells you about the Turf Club at SSR, he knows of what he speaks.
Sure! We will be staying at POFQ so we should be able to take the downtown disney ferry to get there...so that would be convenientIts been a while since we stayed at pofq but i think i remember the boat servicing saratoga springs as well
We were just down at PORS this past November and the boat from RS and FQ (Riverside always stops at FQ to and from DTD) will take you to DTD and drop you off by the Marketplace. SSR will be on your left as you're heading down...you can just walk out of Marketplace and take the left into SSR.
Thanks twighlightsparrow I knew it was close by but wasn't sure...that doesn't sound like too much of a hassle anyways so that's good
You're welcome...it really is no hassle at all since the drop off is pretty much at the entrance/exit of Marketplace not too far from the bus stops.
The boat actually drops you off right at the entrance by the Turf Club at SSR.

I didn't know that...the whole time we took the boat from POR it dropped us off at the dock by Cap'n Jack's....as they say...we learn something new every day...lol.
Here is that picture of the Chocolate Espresso Torte w/ port wine ice cream and a raspberry puree from The Turf Club. The best desert in WDW!

Twilight, none of us know everything. I learn something new every time I go to WDW, and many a day that I am on here.
There are different boats with different colour coded flags. POR & FQ drops at Captain Jacks at the Marketplace. Then you would have to change boats for Saratoga Springs. There is also a different flag for OKW resort.
