Hahaha... I actually really miss a lot of these things.
That is funny. I flew in 1971 and got to sit in the cockpit...while the plane was in the air! I don't think they closed the cockpit door the whole flight. The pilot gave me wings to pin on my shirt like a pilot and I got a free deck of cards with the airline logo. I believe it was National Airlines. Those were the days.

Whenever I think of the 80s and flying, the 80s movie Airplane comes to mind....
