AKL vs Poly

Hey all,
Some of you may remember in February Ill be going with my Mom, Bro, and Aunt to WDW and staying in AKL JAmbo house. Well my bf has never been to WDW and wants to go next October! (2 WDW trips in a year? Yes Please!) He is convinced he wants to stay at AKL. He hasnt even looked at the resorts just heard me talk about AKL. But then I showed him the Poly. My question is.. what one would be better for a 26 and 22 year old? I think the Poly is gorgeous and try to make it a habit to stay somewhere new each trip. What do you think?

I think if you can swing it, the Poly is clearly the answer. It's so much closer to the parks than AKL, which is good for you young whippersnappers, as you can bounce back and forth without a long bus ride. AND I think there will be less munchkins, thus a quieter experience.

Poly. Besides being a monorail resort and just being all around cool it's closer to most things and the bus rides are shorter. Also, for that age, it's got a better "tone" to it I think.

I think that the Poly is fantastic and the easy park access is a HUGE bonus. That being said - parts of it will have a considerable bit of construction going on. It really depends on if you mind being near the construction or not.

Between AKL and Poly, def. go with Poly. We also enjoy the Epcot resorts too because of the fun nightlife and close proximity to the park.

What about a split stay?

The only thing is, you can lose a lot of time on the split stay for one day when you change resort. Just a thought. But its usually not to bad.

Poly wins my votes hands down!

Definitely Poly. It's close (walking distance) to the MK, on the monorail, and all the restaurants associated with that. awesome
