All The Worlds A Stage...

Well after a super weekend away it's back to earth with a bump...I did enjoy my Asian meal on Saturday night and it got me thinking..This year we will be there during the F & W at Epcot...For those of you lucky people who have experienced it,what was your favourite countries cuisine.?...I must admit I love trying other cuisines for various countries, tho I'am partial to southern stuff like Gumbo..Jambalaya..Cajun Meatloaf...But were there any specials that had your lips talking for days after...?

We visited last year and the ones I came back talking about where all items at china booth, I wish I had taken the time to go back for seconds tried every food and 1 of the beverages and it stayed with me all the way home

other notable mentions would be: crispy pork belly (Brazil), Aulani sunrise (Hawaii), filet Mignon (Canada), dessert trio (desserts and champagne), beer flight (Belgium) and lobster tail (hops and barley)

fair to say we booked up for the same time this year so hoping these are all still there!

We hit Belgium a few times for the waffles. The lobster roll was good. Everything we tried was fun but even in the middle if the week the lines were a little extreme. Prepare for that mentally and it's all good.

My favorites were the New Zealand booth (seared Sea Scallop with Kumara Red Curry Puree and Apple Radish Salad and a Lamb Meatball with Spicy Tomato Chutney), the South Korea booth (Lettuce Wrap with Roast Pork and Kimchi Slaw), and the Mexico booth (Crispy Shrimp Taco with Chipotle Lime Mayo and Cabbage, Taco de Filete with Cascabel Pepper Sauce and Scallions, and a Lime Strawberry Margarita on the rocks). YUM!

I can't find it anywhere online. It was in front of the American pavilion. They had a lobster roll. And then Ireland i think it was had like a fisherman's pie that was really good.

Yes I love the things lobster as well and I have them when ever am there for the Wine and Food festival. Am looking at my little passport book for the Wine and Food festival and last year I had the Griddled Lobster Tail with Garlic Herb Butter; Lobster Roll with Lemon Herb mayonnaise and New England Clam Chowder with a side of Tabasco at Hops & Barley. Now at Ireland I had the Lobster and Seafood Fisherman's Pie. Those are my favorites and must have every time am there.
In Mexico I had Taco de Rib-eye with Salsa de chipotle in New Zealand I had Lamb Meatball with Spicy Tomato Chutney and in Brazil I had Seared Scallop with Ragout of Tomatoes, peppers & hearts of palm.
I had all that and it didn't cost me anything as i used my snacks. Doesn't get much better than that. yay

king Fergus - congrats gave me a right chuckle!!!!!

also as a side note 2 things I should add to the "ill never forget list" should be

Singapore sling - my god there are no words, now I like my alcohol strong but this was in its own league all together I couldn't take it, my mother on the other hand said "I like gin ill drink it" now she did drink half but I also had to take her for coffee as she was a little too merry for Disney (if you get my drift!!!!)

Mango Habanero Margarita - now before trying this drink I had NO IDEA habanero was a form of chilli, so you can imagine my surprise when this drink seemingly nearly took the lining of the throat and digestive system off, but cheap north east Englanders perserveered because we NEVER leave a drink!!!!

My kids are wondering what I'm sitting here snickering at.

I hope they love me enough to take me for coffee too after a few sips (okay, slurps) in EPCOT!

I really enjoyed Morocco's Kefta Pocket and Baklava (actually pretty much everything from Morocco!), Hawaii's Kalua Pork Slider and Aulani Sunrise, but Canada's Filet Mignon was my favorite!! I also like fruity drinks (yes, I'm girly) and my absolute favorite drink at Epcot is at Japan called Tokyo Sunset (rum...fruity liqueur...who could ask for more?). Of course I wouldn't complain about the Cosmo Slush from France or a Margarita from Mexico either mickey

Oh man, I normally can hold my liquor pretty well, but that Sinapore Sling pretty much took me down for the count! And then I made the mistake of going to Circle Vision in Canada right afterward for a "break" and I thought I was going to be sick all over the theater!
