That's actually a really good question. I'd probably like whatever I packed myself better. Or maybe I'll go get some quick service Yak and Yeti.
I read this recently and really liked the idea. I looked at some of the picnic spots too, and I immediately ruled some of them out, thinking they may be too noisy or too close to high traffic areas.
The only thing I'd suggest regarding the problem of having to buy for three when you're a party of two is this. If you are having lunch just before you head back to your resort for an afternoon break, AND you have a fridge in your room, you've got instant leftovers for the NEXT days afternoon break.
This may not work for everyone. I think we'd make it work, being that we do like to have some meals in the room, and we are the type to take afternoon breaks.
That's a good point, though I'm still annoyed that they won't do it at a per person rate.
