Best Dining Resort

So if you could only eat on your trip at the resort you were staying at, where would you stay? I think I'd stay at AKL, because I love both Boma and Jiko and they have a lot of variety.

Wow that's a hard one but I think i would have to go with Wilderness Lodge, Whispering Canyon would ease the pain of having to miss all the other great places.

@Vettelover: WCC is great! Do you like Artist Point?

Hmm...does Yacht and Beach Club count as one or two?? If it's one, I have to choose that. You have Yachtsman Steakhouse and Beaches and Cream!

Yes I like Artist Point but to me the fun of the WC and the skillets that they serve give it a slight edge. Very slight.

Have you had breakfast there? We love that skillet!

Most certainly It's my "breakfast of Champions" laugh

Contemporary.

Can't beat California Grill, and Chef Mickey's is always a trip tradition. Haven't eaten at the steak house since the changeover, but the original one was excellent.

The only weak link in the chain for me was the snack bar, but that may have changed since I was there last. (Can't beat the snack bar at the Wilderness Lodge!!!!)

Probably Poly--you can get Kona and 'Ohana, then have a dole whip at Captain Cook's!

With the addition of Sanaa, it'd be hard to pick anything but AKL (including AKV Kidani Village, which is where Sanaa is). Sanaa looks great, we all know the charms of Boma and Jiko, and The Mara IMO is one of the best quick service of any resort on property.

The Contemporary would be my second choice, though I wasn't thoroughly impressed with it's new quick service, Contempo Cafe.

I would go for AKL as well. Boma and Jiko are already #1 and #2 on my list of most favorite restaurants in all of WDW. I will have a first-hand experience at Sanaa by the end of June.

I'm going to go with GF! Citricos and Narcoossees would be great to have in my backyard. Plus, you have a character meal.

No surprise here, I'd pick the Swolphin - If I had to choose just one of those two, I'd choose the Dolphin. Fresh is our Favorite Breakfast, tied with Boma, Cabana Bar & Grill is our favorite lunch & BlueZoo is our favorite Dinner. Plus you've got Picabu & the Fountain. If you throw in Kimonos & Il Mulino at the Swan, it's unbeatable for me. I could eat there the whole trip & never leave Swolphin property. Plus, I can't beat the convienence since I stay right there.

My second choice would be AKL. I agree, Jiko & Boma are pretty tough competition! I haven't tried Sanaa yet, but it looks promising. I like the Mara too.

**Edited to add Shulas to the list of Dolphin dining, I totally forgot about Shulas.

Not to sound completely ignorant, but are they connected?

They're connected by a covered walkway & a regular outdoor walkway. They're both run by Starwood. They share the same website & theme pool complex. They refer to it as "the Dolphin Wing" or "the Swan Wing"
Sort of like the Yacht & Beach Club.

That's what I figured. They do have their own check in though right? Even though they're "Wings?"
