Annual Pass & parking fees

We decided to leave the cold north early and have been driving 3 days to get to Orlando tomorrow, 3 weeks earlier than planned. I want to get our annual passes on Tuesday and start enjoying the parks, especially Epcot and the F & W Fest. I've been told by CM's that if we go to a park and buy our passes we will be reimbursed for the parking fees we just paid. Does anyone know how this reimbursement works? I know there is free parking at DTD, but I really want to get to Epcot. Thanks!

Not sure about how that goes, but I did tell a CM at the toll booth that I was activating my AP from a voucher on the first day I used my pass and they let me through without paying. Not sure if that was someone who just didn't want the hassle of potentially upsetting a guest or if such thing is common practice.

I haven't gotten a voucher yet because I didn't want to jeopardize our FP's with a change to APH. We will go to DTD, our first time there. Then decide the best way to get from there to the park. Thanks.

Mickey,

This happened to us a few years back with my in-laws travelling with us. They needed to get their annual passes and we already had ours. They were in a separate car behind us as we entered the park. The CM told them to take their daily parking receipt to one of the many guest relations locations located just outside the entrance to any of the parks, present the receipt when purchasing or turning in their voucher for the annual pass and a refund would be given at that point. My In-laws had no issues and were given a cash refund for the then $15 daily parking fee. Make sure to do this on the day of... Hope this helps... Disney is real good at accommodating guests, so no worries... awesome

Thank you for the info Mike. We got into Orlando earlier today, just missing some bad weather, but our trip from Michigan to Orlando was very nice. We'll head over to Epcot tomorrow morning. I feel like a lucky kid visiting Disney with no departure date in sight. I'll let you know how it goes with Guest Services & the parking reimbursement.

Mike is correct. We just did the same thing in May.

Another option - head to guest services in DTD tonight. You can pick up your AP with no parking fees. We were just there this weekend with family that needed park tickets. We ran to DTD the night before and picked them up instead of waiting at the park ticket counter.

Scott is right!! awesome We were made aware of this last visit.. It beats waiting in line at TTC in the AM trying to get to the park by rope drop.. eek
