Arrival day not using our dinning plan

Hi All,
I was wondering if you all could give me your ideas on this. I will be going to WDW on May 12th and we should be arriving at POFQ around 1pm. So the plan is to go to Downtown Disney (as I always do on arrival day) and have lunch at Earls (another thing I always do) but my dilemma is I don't know what to do for dinner say around 6:30 pm. We are paying for our dinner so I don't want to spend a lot of money (so therefore no dinner reservations) and we would prefer to have something light for dinner so seeing we are at Downtown Disney is there any place you would recommend that doesn't need reservation and not super expensive? I know I want a lot. Or should we go back to POFQ and get something from the bar or go over to POR and get something at their bar?
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Thanks everyone and it seems that Food Trucks is the answer if we are still in Downtown Disney by the time we are hungry for dinner. Because you all know what the sandwiches are like at Earls. biggrin

Hello King Fergus...am sorry but I need to ask as am not very good with abbreviations on the names so can you tell me what WPE is so I can also check that out...besides the food trucks if we are still there. And it seems like if we are back to our resort before we eat dinner looks like POR for the pasta is the way to go. Thanks.

Zz.

I second, ER, third. . . fourth . . . this one!! We do Puck as our lunch/dinner go-to often, sometimes leaving a busy park to relax here. Turkey club salad, Chinois Chicken salad, BBQ chicken pizza, three cheese pizza. . . Even the pastas tempt us back!

And now my mouth is watering from 3000 miles away. . . sarcastic

OMG you all have my head spinning and I do very much appreciate all the suggestions...which I have written down. I guess it will all depend on where we are when we are hungry for dinner. If we are still at Downtown Disney it will be a hard choice...food trucks verses WPE. However I think where we are will all depend on whether we can check in to our room when we get to the resort. If we can am thinking we will still be at Downtown Disney until late. If we have to go back to get to our room we may just go to POR for the pasta bar and see where we end up.
Again thank you all for all the wonderful ideas it is much appreciated. As it is much better to have many options than to have none (which is what I had).
