Best and Worst attraction to get "stuck" on

I mean stuck on a ride for more than just a couple of minutes.

One ride I would hate to be stuck on is Small World. At least they cut the volume down to about 25%. One that I don't mind as much is Haunted Mansion, probably because I'm always hoping they'll kick on the work lights and have us walk out. biggrin

Then again, we got stuck on Test Track once and that was getting a bit uncomfortable as I barely fit it the car to begins with and we were tilted on an angle when it stopped.

One that I really don't want to get stuck on is the 7DMT. I really don't fit in those buckets at all. That ride was literally built for dwarfs it seems!

What are your best and worst experiences?

I can't remember the last time I was stuck on a ride for more than a minute or two.

I wouldn't mind Haunted Mansion, or anything else with the omnimover type seating. I don't think I would mind the same music over and over as much as being comfortable in my seat. I would be perfectly happy being stuck on the Jungle Cruise, just floating along.

I would be absolutely terrified to be stuck on Soarin' I have a real issue with heights and if I didn't have the movie to focus on I would realize how high up I actually was and freak.

Oooooh... I never thought about Soarin. Yeah, that would be rather uncomfortable!

Being stuck in the shaft at TOT would also be a bit freaky.

I can say from experience that getting stuck on It's a Small World is the absolute worst! This was years and years ago (my now college age sisters were toddlers), but I don't remember them quieting the music. We were stuck for about 10 minutes in the last room. I could see the exit but we couldn't leave. I had to pee and that song was incessant.

A friend of mine got stuck on Big Thunder a few months ago and she said getting walked off it was awesome. I'd love anything where I could get walked off backstage. It's on my Disney bucket list! laugh However I would hate to get stuck on something like Rock'n'Roller Coaster.

Oh! I just remembered that I got stuck on Space Mountain once. Ugh! It's so gross with the lights on, just a mass of steel framework all over the place. The only reason that one is fun is because its in the dark.

We briefly got stuck on Soarin. We were on one of the end sections. Right before the fireworks (original Soarin) the screen went black and the other 2 sections went down immediately. Our section stayed up a bit but finally came down very slowly. They also had to manually unlock us to get the safety belts off. I thought it was pretty awesome. I was on the end closest to the other sections and could see them go down and everything that was going down below.

We got stuck on the Safari for about 5 minutes for a rhino that refused to move.

I was also stuck in Carousel of Progress. I heard It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow in the Christmas scene about 5 times..... which was 4 times to many...

Frozen broke down on us but we were already through it and almost in the queue to exit. We got out a little before we made it to the unloading area and got to go out the back.

None of them were awful. My biggest fear is getting stuck going up the big lift hill of roller coasters... Nope, no thank you...

Oooo I have gotten stuck on the safari too because of an animal up ahead, but we were stuck in the giraffe section where none of them were out so we just sat there for awhile looking at a blank savanna. The poor CM kept trying to come up with interesting facts about the trees and grass.... laugh

In Disneyland Paris I've been stuck on

Big thunder mountain - was so gutted that we had come back under the lake so while getting walked back was fun it could have been more so if we were on the island.

Buzz light years Astro blasters, once the guns stop but the sound effects stay on and the full lights come up it gets quite annoying, if the guns still work and you are pointing at a target it stays fun for about 10 mins

Tower of terror was an awesome ride to get stuck on! We got stuck on the mirror floor, it was really spooky! We had CM come up to check on us but we were up there a good 20 mins before that. This was made more hilarious as DS had already been bribed in the ride and he was mortified that his all time worst ride got stuck, we were then walked down some stairs and loaded straight into the elevator next door much to his disgust! The backside of the ride seemed really exciting and looking down the gap was fun too.

I personally could be stuck on small world for hours....
My nightmare would also be 7 Dwarves - those carts do nothing for my self esteem

We got stuck on journey to imagination with Figment. I'll take the small world song over that song any day! I would hate to be stuck on space mountain. I'm afraid of heights so I don't want the lights to come on and show me how high I really am laugh

Yes!! We got stuck there once and it ws gross. Same with Spaceship Earth.

We once got stuck on the PeopleMover with a fantastic view of the Castle and crowds and could have sat there for hours....ha!

Worst experience with getting stuck was TSM - they had to evacuate everyone from the ride, and we had just gotten started. They would not let us go out the immediate entrance; instead, they had to unboard every single car, one by one, starting with ours and working through the whole ride. We had to wait with each car, then move as a group to the next. They would not let us out as you were in boarded, we had to wait for each car, then move to the next, then the next. It was maddening, more so because it screwed up my entire morning plans for completing my key rides with inimal wait times.

I would love to get stuck on and evacuated from Haunted Mansion, any Fantasyland dark ride except maybe Peter Pan, and that's probably about it. I've recently started becoming more and more anxious about what the evacuation plan must be for certain rides where I can't immediately see the way out or where I would be literally trapped in the ride vehicle. The thought of being trapped on Star Tours or Spaceship Earth scares the crap out of me and I won't get on anything where I feel trapped in the vehicle in the first place, so those rides aren't even an issue.

We got stuck on Haunted Mansion once overlooking the parlor/dining room scene. That was fun.

One of the worst was near the end of that Three Caballeros boat ride in Mexico. We heard the caballeros' safety talk over and over and over to the point we could have narrated. Hasta la vista!

Another worst was when we got stuck in Winnie the Pooh's rain section. They turned the sound off fairly quickly, so we got to watch the animatronics in silence. Eventually even they were turned off. And eventually we were evacuated.

I got stuck on Spaceship Earth for 20 minutes or so about 4 years ago and I have not been on it since. It was so hot and all I could smell was the burning smell, and I started to panic. I just can't seem to get myself back on it.

I can't really think of too many I would want to be stuck on though the PeopleMover would not be that bad since I could always just walk off. I hate the idea/feeling of being trapped.

Best: Kilmanjaro Safaris or the PeopleMover

Worst: Small World. Enough said.

We got stuck in Pirates, but who hasn't. What make this delay "best", it was right before the drop, we were the first boat stopped before the plunge. First off there is a lot of detail of the skeleton beach scene that you would not notice unless you were struck for 20 mins. Second, the water level went up and when we got moving the plunge was fast at very wet, with a big wave at impact. We were front row and the big wave of water went over our heads. Second row soaked.

Worse, got to be small world.

In January we got stuck on Spaceship Earth just as we were coming "down" and your seat is backwards. It was ok for about 10 minutes, after that I got antsy and just wanted OUT! We just sat there for about 20 minutes.

Ohmygosh, Belinda! This is one of my worse nightmares! I'm so sorry that you had that experience. The whole time I'm on that ride I just keep trying to breath very slowly and I beg the ride over and over to just keep moving.

I got stuck on Spaceship Earth on its 'return' to Earth...depending on the time of the day, it can be both a boon or a chore. I quite enjoy being in the car whilst it's tilted backward. I'm just not a fan of 'please remain in your seat. Your time capsule will begin to move momentarily...' repeated ad nauseum!

Outside Disney, I got stuck on Duelling Dragons at Universal. I watched 6 'opponents' pull away on the other track and there was absolutely no apology or anything broadcast on this!

We have been stuck on small world twice and Splash Mountain once.

First time on small world was for 30 min in 2014 in the last and what seems to be the loudest room!!! My son Erik was 6 and was so traumatized he swore would never go on it again. The second time was last year, after 2 years of convincing him that the chances of that ever happening again were so slim that he finally decided to go on and in the exact same room wouldn't you know, not for a half an hour it was more like 5 minutes but the looks that were piercing through my soul from the now 8 yr old it may have well been 3 hrs.

The Splash Mountain time was frustrating because it was 2007 and there was a group of us down for a convention and the last day we finally got everybody together to get on and get a group photo of us all going down the drop. Just as we got half way through the ride it stopped and 45 minutes later we were evacuated from the boats and had to walk off the ride.

This is exactly where we got stuck! The thing that makes it even worse is you can see the exit of the ride and you're just sitting there thinking "Dang I was so close to getting off!"
