I don't know if Disney are still putting on this special event, but when I used to work at the Magic Kingdom I thought the Pirate and Princess Parties were really good for people of all ages! Everyone enjoys a good treasure hunt, and I loved the firework display (not that any fireworks will ever take Wishes place in my heart ). The parade was so exciting; the choreography of the fighting pirates was perfect and, let's face it, what girl doesn't forget that it isn't the real Jack Sparrow when he winks at you Haha, all us female castmembers became a pathetically overexcited jibbering mess when he used to come past our shop on his float!
I'm sorry, that Jack Sparrow love rant was pretty off topic wasn't it!?!!!!!
You mean this Captain Jack Sparrow?
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
EDIT:NOT THAT IT WASN'T THE REAL JACK SPARROW. IT WAS DEFINITELY THE REAL JACK SPARROW.
Just failed at How To Be A Disney Castmember 101 there, didn't I!
That's yet another good thing about this being WDW for GROWNUPS We don't have to worry quite so much about being Disney PC
I think your Jack Sparrow rant was hilarious. I would have guessed that those parades got a bit old for people working on Main Street; good to know that you guys still loved watching...for whatever reason

At the risk of sounding like a broken record - Epcot's Candlelight Processional! My mom and aunt both went for the first time this year (we're all passholders, so it's shocking this was their first visit) and they were absolutely blown away about how special it is. I try and make this an annual family tradition.

Peg - I am 100% right there with you. I LOVE Captain Jack! When they were doing the show beside POTC (I think that's where Tony's pic is from?) I would float right along with the magic. Although I will say, sometimes Jack looked and acted much more like himself than other times. (One time, Jack seemed to have grown a bit ) I'm looking forward to the next movie for sure...although I'm a little sad that Will won't be in it...especially since they FINALLY made him HOT at the end of the last movie!
Oh, and sorry - one more: if time permits, we love just going to all the resorts and seeing the amazing decorations, especially the Grand Floridian. The giant gingerbread house is a "can't miss."

Haha, the day he winked and waved at my friend I could not stop grinning. Seriously, we were reverted back to giggling school girls. We would all sneakily abandon our posts when the parade started (and the manager wasn't about) to go and watch.

You know...I think your "school girl behaviour" - if observed by guests, would actually give Captn Jack a ring of aunthenticity...I mean, if y'all are that worked up about him...not that he needs a ring of authenticity. Because, you know, he's the real Captn Jack.
We need a pirate smiley...
