Best Live Entertainment At WDW...

Well folks. One of my favourite things to do in Epcot during my previous vacations, was take in a live performance at the Americas pavilion ( you know where I mean ) That was always in July..Now there has been some great music from the likes of Southbound & company to the Slippery when Wet tribute act...I also love " Off Kilter " ...But if I had to pick one that left me speechless, it would be Voices of Liberty...( even bought a CD after their performance ) ...I also liked the four dudes that sang on stage before Beauty & the Beast..Can't remember their name..Was it 4 in 1...At DHS...Anyway, have you a favourite live music entertainment show that you must visit on each trip..Hopefully in October, Voices of Liberty will still be performing at America in Epcot...

I believe those fours dudes became dirt mulch and shears or whatever they are called.

Best entertainment in WDW was the adventurers club and now is the dueling pianos at jelly rolls IMHO

I love Serveur Amusant--the guys in France with the chair stacking?? Awesome!

My favorite musical entertainment is the Dapper Dans.

That's right- I remember now- they were supposed to be stage hands not landscapers. All I remember is they were good.

That's also my favorite! It is mindblowing how they're able to balance those chairs straight up.

I love the musicals, B&tB, Nemo, and even VotLM, with Finding Nemo being my favorite. DH and I see FN at least 10 times a year. I'm surprised that on various Disney forums that I've read, the musicals are low on many peoples must see/favorites lists. I'm even more surprised that many people don't have any interest in them at all. I actually hope that they bring a shortened version of the musical Aladdin to one of the parks eventually, now that it is a Broadway musical too.
I've been a wedding soloist for 21 years, and I love to sing, so it's no surprise I love the live musicals. Going to Broadway musicals is just under going to Disney world on my list of favorite activities in the world.

We love live music! Our favorites are the mariachi band in Mexico. DS brought back their CD. And in MK, love the marching Disney Philharomonic. As for resorts, I have to report the guy that took over for Elliot Dyson at POFQ is terrible. I don't think he was even into his performance. The two evenings we were there, he was packing up early. Stop in for a drink at the GF and catch the GFSO set.

Have spent many afternoons and evenings at WS, enjoying performances by Off Kilter, British Revolution, and Mo Rockin.

The balancing act always keeps my men spell bound.
The trash can guys as well.

the Dapper Dans are something my husband seeks out being that he and our two sons have been barbershopper for many years.

They also love the lady at AK on stilts

AND (TAH DAH.....drum roll, please) Festival of the Lion King (I know there is a sound track) but when that bass starts to rumble his low notes, the contralto starts the "Circle of Life" and the bird fly above.....(((shiver))))

We caught the tail end of his act...at 10:45. Both times he was scheduled to play until midnight, and he was calling it a night early. No audience. He just sets up a keyboard. Honestly, if they changed it to Disney Karaoke night, it would have been more entertaining. And to tell the truth, the guy's heart wasn't in it. Better to go see Yee Haw Bob at The Roost at POR.

DS2 LOVEs off Kilter but Festival of the Lion King is just too far ahead for me to think of anything else.
