SO excited about this announcement yay
It's like the old FP system once you've used your first 3 FP+, only electronic FP versus paper FP. I can't wait to hear how they decide to do park hopping. I'm so happy that Disney listened to their guests concerns and complaints about the new FP+ and are making changes to the FP+ so quickly.

It's a step in the right direction in my book. If they ditch the tiers and a have better data system that doesn't malfunction so frequently, that'll do wonders for everyone.

OK...it says once you've used your 3 FP+ selections you've booked in advance, you'll be able to add a 4th using the kiosk at the park. And once you've used that, you can add a 5th. What if your 3rd FP+ selection that you booked in advance is Wishes or Illuminations, which basically happen at park closing? Will you not be able to get any more because you haven't used your first 3 yet? I definitely like the idea of being able to get more FP's, but it seems like if you want a fireworks show, you're still limited to only 3.

That's what it sounds like. You have to use your three first and if you have a night time event as a fastpass, you only get three that day.

I don't even CARE about the number we get, I care about park hopping. I'd much rather have that, any day. I wish it was there already since I leave next week with 23 high school students!

I love this idea, the nighttime question does raise a point but really do you need a FP for any thing other than fantasmic? Cause you know fireworks are in the sky, where everyone can see them?

Park hopper is Great cause it solves the animal kingdom problem, where teens would get Everest and the waste 2 others now they can park hop and go elsewhere. Love that idea.

I do like that they are doing this, my only concern is that if you book your three FP, and utilize them, how many rides will actually have FP still available at say 1:00 in the afternoon. Obviously rides like TSMM will be gone long before that, but I do like that there is the option. I guess I would say to book rides for your first three FP, then book a show or parade for your 4th or 5th FP. I LOVE that they have the park hopper option. Hoping this is in place for our trip in Sept. clapping

I can tell everyone that the lines at the FastPass+ kiosks at EPCOT today were LONG!!!!!! As for the wife and I the FastPass+ does not work for us. Each time that we tried to get the 2 rides at EPCOT that we wanted to ride (Soarin and Test Track) we only wound up with one and then two other rides we did not want. All in all it is going to make us plan our trips a lot more than we ever have and as annual pass holders we just are not as concerned about "doing everything". Just my two cents.

I have heard that Illuminations FP is in a special seating area in front of Morocco, which would be cool. The hopper though is an extra charge, so unless that is now part of the ticket price (which I doubt or it will raise the price), that's not of much use.

Our UK tickets are park hoppers..( included in the price ) But not sure if Disney will bring in FP + park hoppers?...Eyes are watching every move.... waiting

Yayyy I hadn't seen this news!! I am so happy about that! We had a survey about that when we got back! And I did express my concerns about park-hopping. We always park hop and this last trip we had to cancel a couple of fpass+ because we weren't going to be in that certain park. Thanks for King!!
