Best Places For A Meet & Greet At WDW...

Good Morning Folks..I just received a PM last night from a old acquaintance ( not that old ) from a member on here who I keep in personnel contact with from Bon Jovi land..Anyway she has just booked her Disney vacation in October this year ( same month as us ) but we arrive much earlier in the month,and I've worked it out that we have a three day period to which we can meet up and exchange goodies ( American taffy for Scottish macaroon bars ) She is staying at the Poly and us WL..Therefore both of us can sail from our resorts to MK..I was thinking of having a pirates war out in the seas...Only joking..Where would you recommend a meet & greet for a coffee and snack..Now remember we haven't met each other but we have sent photos so we should be able to recognise each other..With my ponytail (10") and goatee beard I should be no problem..I was thinking of early morning hours at MK and coffee at Main Street bakery..What are your thoughts on this,and have any of you good people met others even for a quick hello and some photos...?..

My hubby and I love to have our breakfast sitting at a table at the Plaza landing in MK. You get a beautiful view of the castle, and it's a perfect way to enjoy the atmosphere and magic before you start your day in the MK. It's one of our favorite spots to eat.
There is a smoking section right on the steps leading down to the tables, so if anyone in your party can't tolerate smoke, that might not be the best place for you to eat.

Early morning you could get the main st bakery "Starbucks" coffee then use the table infront of the plaza to visit and soak up the castle view. With all the main st traffic you might consider a place with a little less traffic.

By the other Bon Jovi native i was refering to the energiser Bunny ... She met with some of the other ladies last year

Well, lets see ...... I would suggest putting on your swim trunks, park it at the quiet pool, with a few orders of pork nachos by the quiet pool.... with (of course) a lapu lapu!!!! (actually, I think you have to be seated at the Tambu Lounge for that one, but I think Barefoot bar can make one for you, minus the pineapple!) So many options (lets face it, so many places, so little time!) I do draw the line at grass skirts though... Good times ahead!!!!

Yeah, my meetups generally involve adult beverages, so MK wouldn't work for me.

I can't swim...However I tartan grass skirt sounds different..LOL.

Wherever we decide, it will be a time of great memories! I highly do suggest you trying the pork nachos though! If Queen Festus and Prince B are willing, we could always do Ohana for dinner ... again, so many possibilities, but Im excited to see my Scottish family!

Looks like fireworks on the beach at Poly this year..LOL..It will be hands across the sea....The stars & stripes meet the saltire..
