Last year, we ate at Chef Mickey's on our MK day. What restaurant do you guys think is best for dinner inside MK? Crystal Palace??
Liberty Tree Tavern is always a good choice and a favorite of many of our members.
I like the Liberty Tree Tavern as well. Had Christmas dinner one year. Enjoy!
Crystal Palace is really good and the choice is huge, but Liberty Tree Tavern gets my vote as well. Turkey Dinner, those soft rolls and the salad dressing are amazing, all washed down with a tankard of Root Beer. A definite winner.

Liberty Tree Tavern OR The Plaza! The Plaza is my biggest obsession right now! Mmmm cheese steakwich!

I liked the buffet at Crystal Palace and loved seeing Pooh and friends. Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my favorite Disney restaurants. I've only had lunch there. My favorite is the Pilgrim's Feast. Dinner is served family style.
We just ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch last Tuesday for the first time and it was REALLY REALLY good! I would go back in a heartbeat.
I can't help you on this one, but I can say that wherever you decide to eat, make your ADRs soon since July 4th is one of the busiest days of the year!
I would vote Liberty Tree Tavern or Plaza Restaurant. We are not real keen on the Crystal Palace for dinner, it can be hit or miss, and most times a miss for us. But the breakfast there is good. Truthfully though all the restaurants are hit and miss at times. We have had dinner at Tony's and loved it, while others have had bad experiences there and probably won't go back. Have a Magical time which ever you choose.
In my opinion, for what it's worth, there really isn't a truly great TS restaurant inside MK. Tony's Towne Square is canned Italian but puts out pretty tasty food with huge servings. Liberty Tree has decent food and the character interaction is good. Crystal Palace is fine for a buffet but its real claim to fame is access to Pooh and friends with a pretty backdrop. I don't like The Plaza, it's just counter service with a hostess stand. The castle is, well, you either want to pay for princesses or not. The food is ok.
If we're in MK and have to have dinner there, it's usually Cosmic Ray's. I may be a food snob but dinner slots at Disney are so rare that I hate to spend one having average food.

Honestly, we often leave for dinner and hit one of the hotels on the monorail for some great food. Staying in the park though I would go with Liberty Tree Tavern of Pecos Bills.
Well....since we've opened it up for Counter Service options, I vote one of my favorite two: Columbia Harbor House (awesome fish and chips and clam chowder!) Or Casey's (delicious hot dogs and I love their corn dog nuggets!) Other than that, I'd go with Liberty Tree like others have said (although I'm more intrigued with their lunch menu.) Unless you're looking for a character experience. Good luck! Let us know what you decide!
Liberty Tree has decent food and the character interaction is good.
Does LTT still have characters? I was under the impression that they had done away with the characters.
Vettelover you are correct, there are no longer Characters at LTT.

Oops, sorry. I guess that goes to show how long it's been since I went to dinner there.

i always go to crystal palace, or casey's. we have an adr for ltt for our october trip i am so excited to go after all the talk and jeff c pic, we have not been there in years.
Last Christmas we went to Cinderealla's Royal Table in the palace. OMG?! How old are we?! LoL the three of us (all over 50) had a great time. The ambience, princesses, servers, even the food were all great. We were all pleased with our food and are planning on making a reservation as soon as we hit the 180 days ahead point! LoL. Only 200 days before we leave to see da mouse!
If we stay in the park we always go to Liberty Tree Pot Roast and ooey gooey toffee cake!! If we go out on the monorail loop we go to Grand Floridian Cafe. While eating there this past September we got to see the Cinderella Carriage...very cool!
