The Best Spot of the Moment

Sometimes when we go to Disney, really magical things can happen in the least expected places! Do you have any out of the ordinary Disney Spots that make you smile when you think about them? Someplace magical to you, but normal to everyone else?

For me it's the stone bench at the Adventureland Bridge, because looking up at the stars through the palm trees is amazing. Also a random spot at BLT where a huge group of friends and I tried to "sneak" in to check out the lounge. It's not that easy to "sneak" 15 people anywhere by the way. These are just regular places to most, but to me they're the best spots ever.

I'd love to hear your magical spot stories!

The benches down next to the water in UK in Epcot is one of my favorite places. Its so peaceful there by the water and if you get fish 'n chips from the CS and eat them down there a special squirrel named Bryan will come to visit you. (He came and sat on my lap once and the cast members told me his name...I didn't just make that up) biggrin biggrin biggrin

After dinner at Jiko, we always take time to sit in the rockers at AKL - the ones on the balconies off the lobby. You can smell that smoky campfire and it is so calm and quiet. Sometimes kids will swoop in for a bit, but they never stay. We have - every time - had the space for our very own.

The back porch at the check in building for Fort Wilderness campground. There are two rocking chairs there and a beautiful butterfly garden. The first time we arrived there we discovered this spot since we had to wait for our cabin to be ready. We just sat and watched all the travel trailers roll in but the best part was watching the lizards and butterflys. It was just a very peacefull spot considering we had driven such a long way and had to wait and wait and wait.

How lovely to take a rest and watch the butterflies at the camp ground. That sounds so very nice.

I think of the whole SSR to be pretty magical. I was actually born in Saratoga and the resort really made me feel like I was back home.

I like walking through the rose gardens. It's pretty peaceful and not many people walk the half loop. Both my grandmothers loved roses so walking through reminds me of them.

I actually have 3 moments. The first one is waiting right in the middle of this to come on...

I just LOVE it... especially if its dark. Its just so magical to see how much that lights up the area! Just love it!

The other 2 are very similar... the first is being on the Magical Express bus, and the bus driver informs us of a great picture moment, and that moment is the entrance sign to Disney World. I still get butterflies and goosebumps every single time that happens.

And the last one is right when the bus pulls into Epcot. You start walking, and finally the trees part, and you can see Spaceship Earth. For us its usually at night, and its just lit up with the pink, blue and purple... just so beautiful.
