Video of when we got stuck on Tower of Terror

Now, this was an experience that could have been bad or would be bad to some people, but we thought it was awesome! This happened during our trip in december 11'.

The entire ride on TOT went perfect! At the end of the ride when the car backs out of the elevator shaft, turns to the exit door, and the lights come on giving you a glimpse of the props and decor...well, that didn't happen. The car exited the elevator shaft, started to turn and just stopped. The lights came on, the voice over played like normal, and the exit door didn't open. We then just sat there in the dark. People started getting concerned and asking if it was normal to which i excitedly replied, "No! We're stuck! Yay!" They did not share my excitement until later. All of a sudden, bright lights came on and back behind us we could see a break room. haha It was the weirdest sight. A maintenance guy walked into the room and was shocked to see us sitting there. He walked back out of the room without saying anything. People even started to yell, "Hello?!" He came back with two other maintenance guys and they started to walk around the car looking at it. They backed up the car using a manual driver into the break room area and started working on it. That's when i pulled out my phone and started recording...

You can see the door where you normally back out of the elevator shaft. Who knew this whole break room area was right behind you the whole time!

All of the employees were suuuper nice and it was an awesome experience to be able to see all of the behind the scenes action of one of my favorite rides. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
