We put the deposit down for a trip in October for the F&WF and Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party.

We are going to have to postpone the trip at this point, but I am not going to do it untill the last minute in hopes that things change.

I am in real estate in Socal. We have been very lucky that through the past few years I have kept my job. Unfortuantly, luck has come to and end. In order to avoid layoffs, we are doing a work share program. Everyone now has to take 1 day off a week without pay. Effectivly droping my salary by 20%. I am VERY thankful to still have a job, but I like to have a light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to.

Hopefully things turn around, but as you say it could be worse. Maybe the "day off" will give you some opportunities to do things you didn't have time for before?

Cdub - I am going to. Hubby and I were talking while on vacation and as much as I love to plan the trip, I am thinking of possibly, attempting to learn to be a travel agent. When we do big family vacations, I am the local cruise director and get everything together.

caitiesus - I am very happy to still have a job, way to many people I know do not and cant find one. sad

Ugh no bueno on the job front! Be sure to cancel it before 45 days out so you get your deposit back! We are in the process of canceling a trip ourselves..it stinks!

I'm sorry to hear it! I hope things work out for you...it's tough to make the cut backs. I'm trying to find the brightside of letting my APs go for a time. I think what keeps me looking on the bright side is that things just HAVE to get better at some point, right? Smile
