Boats from Resorts to MK & ECV

Does anyone know if you can load a ECV onto the boats that travel from the Magic Kingdom to the Resorts? Has anyone every seen this done or done it yourself?

I am not 100% sure but I do not think you can do it. I have never seen it done and I know strollers must be folded up. I believe you would have to go over and hop on the ferry if you want to go by boat. Or, go up and take the monorail.

That's kinda what I thought. Thanks!

They can be loaded on the 'big' boats as long as the water isn't too choppy. Unfortunately there's no indication until the boat pulls up. The captain will let you know when they dock. We saw lots of ecvs going on and off the boats from Wilderness Lodge. Smile

Thanks Becca!

I've been toying with the idea of a non-Disney ECV rental for myself. The problem with Fibromyalgia is that I never know if I'm even going to need one until I need one. If that made any sense at all.

We used Apple scooter rental in Dec and they were great. While getting off one of the boats my mom bumped something and we had issues getting it to easily start. We called them and while we were on the Jungle cruise they delivered a brand new cart and neatly moved all of Moms stuff. What a blessing. This was the first time we rented a cart for mom and it made all the difference. We use to never get her to go very far from home because the walking was to much for her. Now she is booking with us for another trip to WDW. If you think it would benefit you don't think twice just do it. We had a 4 wheel model but this time she is getting a 3. You can easily use the cart all over Disney. The bigger boats can do it. Only hotel we had a hick up with was the grand Floridian so we just used the monorail.

It's not very long, i'd say maximum of 10 mins? but perhaps someone else can give a more accurate answer?

10 min sounds about right. I would budget 15 min if you had booked anything tight. The day we were there they had two boats going back and forth. It's seems a few min longer than the boat from TTC.
