Hi Hurly! I've never used this site before, so I can't really recommend it, but they seem of have a ton of pirate costumes for adults and kids. If nothing else, it might provide some inspiration or narrow down what you guys want for a look!

And we want pics when you are done!!!!!

I am also looking for some pirate gear for our cruise in May! I have not found anything yet, other than an eye patch! haha

You may want to google pirate halloween costumes. I've seen some pretty decent ones!

If you're looking for less of the "temporary" halloween costume pirate garb, and want something more like historical clothing check out these links

I have no experience with either of them personally.

I've purchased items from dress like a pirate...very cool stuff, also there's a seller on eBay who sells pirate pants. Very comfy!
I've also purchased replica items from medieval collections dot com or on eBay. My pirate hat was purchased at orientaltrading.com it was $8. And has lasted for 4 years.

I can't find a closer view of my pirate pants. Hy are very comfy and have a pocket on one leg

Thanks all! Dee, looks great! awesome Working on getting something for the boys. I went to Burlington Coat Factory and found a great shirt and skirt for me and a couple other stores I found a great belt, fishnets (that when I asked the guy at the register if they would fit me, he said, well I'm a little bigger than you and they don't quite fit me so they may! laugh lol) a really awesome necklace with skeleton keys and stuff on it and a great fake pony tail to add to my hair and I got a great pair of boots for Christmas. Add the black bustier and some bracelets I've got and all I need is a scarf for my head! I'll try to post a pic when I'm done.
Gonna hit Salvation Army to see if they have anything that will work for the boys. The little one already has black and white striped pants from being a mobster for Halloween so I'll just shred up the bottoms of the pants! He also has a monkey in a pirate outfit that has Velcro on it so it can hang on his neck and he has a parrot that I can use elastic on so it can be worn on the shoulder of my older son. I hope I can find some cool stuff! I can shop on line, but then they may end up being dressed like other people. Can guarantee there won't be anyone dressed like me!!! ROFL! biggrin
Looking forward to the challenge. I'm a freak when it comes to party planning so I'm pretty good with coming up with decent stuff.
