I'm *so* excited that Brave is coming out soon! Are you looking forward to this new movie?
How do you feel about Pixar's first Princess? How do you feel that she's fit in with the classic Disney princesses?

Looks like a very good movie.
Im border lined about it. They keep talking about magic and adventure and all the previews have really been showing are the groups trying to win her hand in marriage. I know she goes off on her "own" adventure... probably will face that bear... but I want to know about this magic. If its all about what the previews have been... ill probably be disappointed... but if it goes into the adventure with magic and such like I'm hoping... I'm down. Maybe all these previews are killing it for me to? Seen the same thing over and over... hoping like I haven't seen half the film kinda thing... lol

I think it could go either way. It'll be awesome and the trailers are just a wee taster or all the good bits are more or less in the trailer with predictable results. I'm more excited about 'Wreck it Ralph'.

I actually was just able to see a sneak preview of Brave! There's definitely lots of magic and an adventure- I'm surprised they are not showing it in the previews but I think they don't want to ruin anything.
I loved it and it's REALLY funny but it's still probably not my favorite Pixar film.
I have to say that Merida is AWESOME - she's an awesome Princess and I really connected with her as a character.
I can't wait to see it, especially as it's set in a period of history that hold some interest for me.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
I'm debating on f I want to we're my kilt to opening weekend

There's a whole Brave section at EPCOT with some very cool Highland games for kids - It was just Mike and I so we didn't play but enjoyed watching.

I cannot WAIT! I love the period references and the settings, and agh! Just everything about it! I think I'm more excited than my 7 year old, but I plan to get her on the bandwagon! Actually, I'm really excited to teach her a little about history through it. Does that make sense? I think the setting is more "real" than pretty much all the other princess films. We were talking in the car the other day, and I was talking to her about what a very different world it was for Merida and little girls at that time. There's a real opportunity for a teaching moment there, I think. K. Off my history teacher soap box
Melissa - That's awesome!
I think what I love is that the Mom in the story isn't "evil" just strict and looking out for her family. Well, at least that's how it seems, since I haven't seen it yet I could be wrong. But my thought is ALAS! A decent Disney Mom.
I am looking forward to it! I love her messy red hair!
I"m so pumped to see it. DH will see any Disney Pixar movie with me.
Yay! I got a preview invite for Brave finally! Whoo hoo! Free Movie! Okay... maybe not so free, what it would cost me in gas to drive to the preview two hours away would probably be enough to take my whole family on opening day. Grrrrr...I think I may just wait until it comes out in the theater.
