Disney Park Music

I often find myself listening to some of the online music stations that play theme park music and my girlfriend thinks I'm mad.

I used to have a harddrive full of Disney music however it became corrupted, probably from over use lol.

My favourite resort music is Wilderness Lodge, and my favourite area/ride music is space mountain.

Does anyone else listen to Disney Park music regularly? What is your favourite disney music?

I don't listen to Disney Music very often, but I think it's because I don't really think about it. I would love to have the Tiki Room music. I think I'd listen to that a lot.

I do! I'm obsessed! Love the music walking through the different "Lands" in MK. The music played on "Main Street USA" must makes me happy. Also, the resort music like at Wilderness Lodge ( I had asked if they have a resort CD but to my great sadness, no). Port Orleans Riverside has really cute banjo style and French Quarter has jazz. LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Can you tell? yay

I listen to a lot of Disney soundtracks, not so much from the parks. One of my favorite songs though is "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow". My husband always sings the song from Splash Mountain!

I got mine from a number of places on the net. Most were not legal I suspect. I don't have them any more sadly.

Wishes, illuminations, spectromagic etc I have on CD from the parks.

You can get "4 Parks 1 World" at any of the WDW gift shops. Also you can order this on Amazon. That CD has the full length songs from each of the parks at WDW.

Thanks! I'm gonna have to wait to get my cast member discount before I buy that!

It's a bit of a story, but...

I was in the marching band for three years in high school (tuba!), and our director always picked pretty awesome music for our yearly halftime show. My first year was music from Les Miserable, third year was pulled from The Lion King on Broadway. The second year, no one knew what the heck we were playing. It sounded cool, but we weren't aware that there was a theme. And we had NO IDEA why we had to spend time making this Earth prop that would be dragged out at some point.

Then in March, after the football and competition season ended, we visited WDW for Magic Music Days. And then the night we were at Epcot, it all made sense. Illuminations was our show. And our director had managed to keep it secret nearly an entire year so that the surprise would come that night while watching the fireworks as a group. It was actually very meaningful.

So yeah, I have Illuminations on my mp3 player.

I listen to such music regularly! A friend of mine made me a CD of a bunch of the park songs. I have it in a CD player in our Disney room, and turn it on whenever I go in there. Joe also thinks I am mad (though he uses a much more colorful word than mad, which I cannot repeat here eek )

He has banned that CD from being in the car ever again since our last trip to Disney laugh

Friend got me 4 Parks 1 World and said she heard from cast memebers it was only available at Hollywood Studios (where she did end up buying it). I've seen several great compilation CDs at Downtown Disney, including one from attractions that are no longer with us. Should have picked it up, because then I could have listened to Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit whenever I wanted (two Kitchen Kabaret references in one week, how cool is that).

I'm obsessed with park music- I play it in my car and people think I am nuts! I run to it at the gym! My current mix has a few fun items on it

#1-5
Mixed music from each themed land with walt disney discussing the land (his intro to the public when disneyland was opening)
6. Country Bear Jamboree waiting room music
7. Country Bear Jamboree
8. Pirate's of the Caribbean
9. Grim Grinning Ghosts
10. It's a Small World
11. Splash Mountain Ride (some one recorded all of the music and talking)
12. Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
13. Epcot entrance song
14. Epcot exit song
15. A quick clips of ""Howdy, folks! Please keep your hands and arms inside the train, and remain seated at all times . . . 'cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!"
16. Golden Dream
17. Epcot Millenium Celebration

Most were downloaded from people's files online a while back!

That's so awesome! What a cool band director to have planned that out!
