I was walking along the waterfront here in Halifax today and noticed a bunch of people in Pixar and Brave t-shirts...apparently they are cross promoting Halifax tourism and the movie Brave. I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised since I do live in Halifax, Nova Scotia (read: New Scotland) and we have a rich Scottish heritage. We have highland games, highland dancing and I myself used to have to wear a kilt to work when I worked in a Hotel on the waterfront during the tourism season.
Today I saw some girls performing highland dancing for a crowd and they had posters surrounding their dance space advertising Brave...I kept my eye out to see if they were passing out movie passes but alas, no luck there. The tourism season is just starting here so I'm anxious to see what other ways Brave will be incorporated!
