A 15 story business deluxe tower with 583 rooms to be constructed. Includes concierge level, Presidential and VIP suites, 60% of the rooms fireworks view of DHS, an island in the middle of Lago Dorado with a bar/restaurant and a series of bridges. A glass roof top restaurant too. The old lobby will become a seating area. The new lobby will be in the tower.
I just got an email about it! So excited to check it out once it opens!

Today is demolition day for cabana 9b. Those there will get a letter in there room soon.
I am guessing the building out over the water is a restuarant/lounge??

I am excited for the changes there!
Interesting spot for the new restaurant! Hopefully this won't encourage folks to be feeding alligators. I'm always a little cautious when I see Disney building restaurants over the water. It does seem like it will have beautiful views though.
Also - looking at the art of the tower - seems to me like it may have a "city of gold" type theme.
