Can you make too many ADRs?

I think I posted the mega list of my ADRs somewhere else on the forum but Just in case I didn't.

First day: Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, California Grill for dinner

Second day: Coral Reef for lunch, Flying Fish for dinner

Third day: Narcoossee's for dinner

Fourth day: Yak and Yeti for lunch, Jiko for dinner

Fifth day: Hollywood Brown Derby for dinner

Sixth day: Via Napoli for lunch, California Grill for dinner

Seventh day: Le Cellier for lunch

Too much? Anything you would change? Ideas are all welcome! mickey awesome

I do not think you can make too many ADRs. We usually make two each day also. We however usually make them for breakfast and lunch. I have found that when we do one for lunch I am not very interested in my dinner. MrHub does not have this problem though.

I think you mentioned the restaurants, but not the given schedule. I think that looks fantastic. You hit one of my underrated favorites too -- Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch. I think that is by far the best place to eat in the Magic Kingdom.

Is the seventh day the day you're leaving, or are you doing CS that night?

These look great, Dana! I'm sure your friend is going to have the time of her life. You're certainly introducing her to some amazing restaurants!

To your question, the too many ADRs thing is a tough one. I'm not a big fan of people making ADRs and then not going to them (essentially just holding spots "just in case"), because capacity is already strained with free dining meaning more people are in the table-service restaurants that world be normally. But, that said, we often make at least one or two ADRs per day because we love dining in the table-service restaurants.

So, if you're gonna use 'em, make 'em!

I note you did two seafoods on the same day. I might split them up.

It depends..do you really like to eat? If you like to eat & spend a lot of time in restaurants than your ADR's look great. Usually we skip making lunch ADR's because they make us sleepy..but that's just us Smile Of course if you space them out fairly well plus all the walking & sweating you'll be famished by dinner.

Well, hubby and I have eaten at ALL of those restaurants except for Coral Reef and Via Napoli. Via Napoli we'll go to in October.

I definitely love your choices, and I'm jealous of the 2 visits to Cali Grill! Cali Grill and Jiko are my favorite signature restaurants for sure. Narcoossee's we were not as impressed with, but the atmosphere and view of Electric Water Pageant are great.

But as far as the others -- Liberty Tree, Brown Derby, Le Cellier and Yak & Yeti are my faves in each of the parks! Can't go wrong.

Hubby and I did deluxe dining in April and we sometimes found it to just be too much food.

I really, really wish there was a plan between Plus and Deluxe, but I digress....

Wait a minute. I thought eating and getting sleepy (and then napping!!!) were part of the fun of vacation! laugh

Luckily all of our lunch ADRs are early lunch late breakfast time. Me and my friend are living on the myth that "young people" (we're in our mid-20's) are full of energy! clapping yay laugh But if that's not that case we are not above finding leisurely rides and places to chill until we have our energy back. I'm not sure about the 2 Cali grill ADRs only because I've heard mixed reviews (more good than bad but mixed). I'm not too worried about coral reef and flying fish on the same day only because the type of seafood is WAY different and I would so get steak from a seafood place. awesome

I've heard great things about the steaks at both flying fish and coral reef, so I think you're good to go!

Great idea to book late breakfast / early lunch times. That means it probably won't be too crowded in the restaurants either! (I hate crowded restaurants.)

My hubby still claims that the best steak he's had in his life was at Coral Reef!! I'd be curious to hear if that's still true wink

Can't believe you got Le Cellier on Thanksgiving! That's awesome clapping

For AK Counter service, I would suggest Flame Tree Barbecue or the Yak and Yeti counter service. YUM!

Those were the dates I saw poking around too. Over a month for a CS restaurant refurb? I wonder what in the world they're doing.

No way, the kids make you forget that you're tired. It's when you lay down at 9 p.m. and then it all hits you!
