Hey all! I'm on a flight right now and wanted to give a real-time review of American Airlines' go-go in-flight internet.
It's really REALLY fast -- and very easy to use. About $10 for internet for the flight, and a snap to sign up and pay. Once you're in, you can go anywhere online. Very nice.
I think American has internet on about half their flights these days -- the big planes, not the little ones -- so be sure to pack your computer in your carry-on!

First place I ever saw it was Delta. I think Southwest is doing it too. None of them are 100% though. Just on some flights.

Air Tran has it on all their flights, too. It's one of their big marketing pushes right now.
Agreed that Jet Blue shouldn't be far behind.
