And do you have you have a picture? biggrin

Ours is probably the big pile of ponchos that we buy but never use.

Those little Vinylmation guys are both ridiculous and fun! I'll see if I can find a pic of mine.

My Disney Douney Purse. It seems so silly to pay so much for any purse let alone one covered in characers. My family thinks I'm nuts but I love it! muchlove

I just looked at some of those on Amazon (after you mentioned them, not because I was shopping), and they're pretty cool. Which one do you have?

Mrs T bought a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter on our last trip. I don't think it's been used yet.

Mmmmm...cookies! Smile

Jess -- you're always justified in buying purses with characters all over them. Especially if they're REALLY expensive! Wink

I think I bought about a thousand plush characters during my early days of Disney visiting (in my 20s)... ended up bagging them all and giving them to the Goodwill when I ran out of room!

The white one, called the sketch, where it looks like all the characters are drawn on.

Ooh! That's really cute!

Love the balloons answer, too -- $10 is pretty steep.

Yep, that's the one! I got one size up from that pic since I'malways carrying so much junk.

And ten dollar baloons are worth it because balloons make you happy!

Hmm...I've never thought of balloons for grown folks. $10 sounds cheap if it brings a smile to your face.

Our last trip we bought a number of souvenirs. I'm not sure how silly it is, but we bought a pair of (Mickey and Minnie) freezer mugs that cost way more than they would elsewhere. And you know what? We LOVE THEM! We use them all the time and they remind us of the World and it puts a smile on our faces every time.

You didn't have a balloon for your room? I'm not sure you got your allotment of pixie dust then!

It's probably good that I don't wait to buy them until I'm there.

You definitely need it to sing Disney songs to you! How fun!

(But, yes, don't let subvets hear -- hasn't he had some serious Mickey toaster issues lately?)

I think you guys have all missed the point of this thread. The original poster wanted to hear about ridiculous things you've bought. So far, I haven't read about one thing that's ridiculous. biggrin

I have bought plenty of things that outsiders (those who lack Disney Magic) might consider ridiculous too. But, as others have mentioned, if it reminds you of your happy place, and puts a smile on your face, unless it led you to financial ruin, I see nothing at all ridiculous about it.
