Have you ever stayed on Club level at any of the Deluxe Disney resorts? Did you find it to be a benefit in your planning or dining strategy? Would you choose club level again? Why or why not?

We were lucky enoug to stay on the club/concierge level at the Polynesian when we went when I graduated from high school (so many, many moons ago!). It was great and worked out really well from a dining perspective. (some background: my father's boss paid for the hotel room and park tickets as a bonus for my father - otherwise my family NEVER would have been able to afford it). We ate breakfast in the club every day, and then would eat lunch in the parks. We'd usually come back late afternoon/early evening and would again snack in the club, then head out for fireworks and EMH. We ended up eating very few meals in the parks (which was good b/c it extended the souvenir budget!!). I don't know how much more a club level room is these days, and if it would be worth the extra $$, but for a family of 5, it definitely saved my parents some money!
I'd love to be able to stay on concierge level again (or just to be able to stay at the Poly again!), but I'm gonna need my Powerball numbers to come up to make that a reality!!

I've stayed on the AKL Club Level twice now because I was able to book it on DVC points and I really loved it. I'm not sure that I would have ever done it if we were paying cash for the room, but I would do it again on points. We are breakfast there every morning and it really did help to stretch our dining dollars. The view wasn't so fantastic, but we had housekeeping daily (a treat for DVC members) and always grabbed extra sodas for the room.

I'm not staying club level but I am staying at AKL for the first time. I thought about upgrading but we'll only be there two nights. This wii be my first deluxe.

We have never stayed club level and I doubt we ever will. With there just being two in our travel party it is cheaper to just pay for the deluxe dining plan than to upgrade to club level.
