So I've always thought DHS was pretty unimpressive by day, but looks really good at night. Am I alone on this?

I like it at night too but especially when the Osborne lights are lit. Then it's just spectacular.
Living Close to the Mouses house.
My second home is SSR.
At Christmas it's definately better at night. The whole atmosphere of the park changes and it just seems to come alive.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
DHS is better at night, particularly during the Holidays, BUT about the last 10 times I've tried to go there at night it's been packed. I don't know if I have bad luck, or if lots of other people agree with us and go at night time.
It's a whole new World ("a dazzling place I never knew", just kidding, lol)! Specially Sunset Boulevard. I've never been during Christmas Holiday though...It must be something.

You should definitely try. The Osborne Family lights are AWESOME! Just go before it gets too close to Christmas...
Here is a video I took from my iPhone 3G. The video is ok... but you can definitely tell whats going on. I need to find my video I took last year. That one is sooooooo much better, and it may have the hidden Halloween cat... lol

I don't know if it's better at night but it is awesome! I love riding ToT at night..when the doors open and close it is awesome to see all the lights.
Agreed.... the view is just amazing. I may have to do that this year... wonder if the Osborne Family Lights are visibly well from it?

The night we have planned for DHS is supposed to be a EMH Evening and I am hoping to take the chance to do some night photography around the park. I have heard from other people though to try and avoid EMH evenings... What do you all think?
I'm really looking forward to TOT at night also!
We did DHS on an EMH night a couple of years ago, TOT was a walk on while RNRC was only a 15 minute wait. I mananged to do both in less time than it took a friend to look round a shop.

If you can stay the whole evening, it is worth it. Lines won't be too bad at the end of the night (usually the last hour is light).
I suppose I should also mention that the EMH night at DHS is also Halloween. Either way, I am really looking forward to it.
What makes it so great at nite? Other than at Christmastime to see the Osborne Lights, I don't think I've ever been there after dark.
I think I've only been to HS at night once or twice. I dunno.. I just dont spend much time there, I'm not terribly fond of the place. We go, get on ToT and RnR, maybe hit one of the restaurants and go back to EPCOT lol..
it was nice I guess.. but I would LOVE to be able to go at night at Christmastime. But unless I get another job, that will never ever happen

Besides the lights... for me its the atmosphere. I think the Magicians Hat looks best at night (technically all of the "landmarks" do... but enjoy the hat). I think HS just looks really cool at night. Hard for me to explain.

I think ALL the parks look better at night. If I could skip the day and just go all night at the parks, I would mess up my sleep schedule for a few days to do it.
