Because we were on our Honeymoon and proudly wore our pins that said we were, we sometimes got 'extra' stuff. Mostly food...sometimes a free drink. At the Brown Derby, we got a free glass of champagne. On the DCL, at Palo's, we got LOTS of freebies. Our waiter kept bringing us stuff. When he brought the desert menu and saw we were having a tough time deciding, he brought 4 deserts. Think we got 4 appetizers too.

But here is a picture of the cupcakes we got at Chef Mickeys...and a picture of the plate we got at Palo's.

@Imagineer -- looking at those photos, I'm already hungry for lunch at 9:00am!

@Mike and Donna -- What a beautiful presentation of your Palo plate. And the pink and blue Mickey cupcakes are adorable.

Breakfast at Kona and no Tonga Toast? Is that allowed?! Wink That looks delish. Is it eggs benedict?

Ouch! I've been there, and that can be unpleasant. Not going to stop me from diving into something like this though biggrin

Agreed! Inhaling it DOES sound painful, but I understand the desire to gobble those things up!

That's the primary purpose of beignets, right? To hold powdered sugar.

@LeCellierBuff - The question is: What kind of frosting?

Chocolate, of course.

Bali, that was Seared Bison filet with a white corn & mushroon risotto, with roasted turnips & chestnuts. It was really, really good! I don't see it on the menu now.
