I'm a horrible judge of hotel beds, but I've noticed that Disney's been changing out mattresses at a bunch of their hotels recently. Anyone have any complaints/praises for the beds at Disney -- and which ones are the most comfortable, do you think? (They always feel kind of hard to me.)
I imagine the best beds are those heavenly beds at Swan/Dolphin

Both times that we've stayed at PO Riverside I have LOVED the beds and never slept better...of course some of that may be because I'm on VACATION! 
However, I do find the beds at the moderates to be more comfortable than the beds at the value...haven't had the pleasure of staying at a deluxe (yet) to make that comparison.

I'm not a bed connoisseur, but I usually sleep pretty darn well there. Of coure part of that is probably because I'm worn out from all the activity.

I haven't slept at the beds at the swan/dolphin in over 20 years, so the heavenly beds weren't there then, but I have slept on a heavenly bed once and they were the most comfortable fantastic bed I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in.

I have heard a LOT of great things about those heavenly beds!
I always find the beds pretty comfortable. I agree that the mattresses are firm, but I still sleep like a baby. I think it has a LOT to do with how dark the rooms get with the blackout curtains. 
I'm not sure if I'm able to tell a good bed from a bad one. There are beds I feel comfortable when I lay in, but those aren't necessarily the same ones which make my back feel good in the morning. I'd have to say the back issue is more important.
