Your favorite room view

I think it's funny that I've had lots of room views that were "standard," but really beautiful! What's your favorite room view from your trips (or what's the room view you most wish you'd gotten!)?

We had a great corner room at the Boardwalk with a big bed. You couldn't really see that much but you were at the top in a corner and could relax out on the balcony.

We stayed at AKL in Feb. of last year. Rather than describe to you the amazing view from our room, I thought I just show it! Smile

That's a great view ZapperZ. Do you remember the room number?

Great shots! We had a fantastic room at the Yacht Club once. It was so nice in fact that we went back downstairs and made sure we weren't going to be charged more for it. Great big bed, nice desk, sitting area. Maybe that's standard at Yacht Club though. Has anyone else stayed there?

I don't remember. It was on the 4th floor on the DVC villa. But I think any Savanna view room at Jambo House will give you a similar view.

I think the higher floors give you a better overall view, although when you're lower down you can see the animals more close up.

What hotel has the highest rooms? On-site? Off-site?

This view isn't quite on the same par at the view at AKL, but nevertheless, I love staying there at that time. This is at Saratoga Springs, and in Congress Park. If you are lucky enough to get a room overlooking at lagoon and Downtown Disney, you might just get this amazing view.

I've stayed in congress park and LOVED the view. Back when they did the "New Year's Eve" fireworks every night that was a very cool place to stay!

That view might not be as great ZapperZ, but the photography is awesome. I love the looks of those pictures.

Our best view was when we stayed at the Boardwalk and had the room directly about the "BO" in the Boardwalk Bakery. It was so nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the hustle and bustle below. Plus it was really cool watching the hurricane come in a few days into the trip (yes, hurricanes seem to follow me! I've been through 2 of them at WDW)

Maybe I can find the video of the awning coming off during the storm. It was the only time we were at the window and down came the awning.

That view sounds awesome. Did it smell good too?

you cannot even imagine how awesome it was. Needless to say we ate at the bakery a good bit!

You should have just set up a conveyor or lowered down a rope for more cupcakes.

This was the view outside of our room at Old Key West.

It actually was quite tranquil and very quiet.

That's really nice, Z. It looks like the buildings are a bit close together. Does it feel that way when you're there? OKW is pretty sprawling, isn't it?

This was the view I think to the left of the balcony. The view straight on wasn't crowded, just trees and bushes. So it didn't feel to crowded.

I'm not sure I've ever been over to OKW. It looks kind of cool.
