Is Disney World a good first date?

Some friends of ours met online and decided that their first date should be to meet up at Disney World. Personally, I think this could be wonderful or disastrous. I can't imagine waiting in a 2-hour line for Space Mountain making nervous small talk on a first date! But, if you have a great day with no lines and no crowds, it could be kind of romantic. What do you think?

I think definitely. It can either give you a wonderful day to relax with someone new, or it help you determine how someone deals with stressful situations =D

No kidding! That's a great "testing ground" situation for a new beau to be sure. If he can survive Disney World in the busy season, he can survive anything.

How could a date complain about being taken to the World? IMO Epcot or AK would be better than MK or DHS, they seem more relaxed and there's more to do that doesn't involve standing in a queue first.

Good point. It's also easier to chat while toodling around WS or AK looking at the architecture and theme than going down Splash Mountain. Although I guess a good ride could be a bonding experience.

Maybe it's my British sense of humour, but I think you should re-phrase that. laugh

Is the "toodling" the problem? silly

I agree that WS or AK might be the best places to start. I'm going to suggest World Showcase.
