What does everyone think of this. Is it something you would want to do. If i had an extra 224 dollars I would so be down

I would - I think it would be really really fascinating.
I took this tour last October with my brother (that was me responding on that blog post)... it was AWESOME! I would sooo do it again! Admittedly, I did get a healthy Cast Member discount, so I can see how price can be a factor.
BUT.. rest assured it is well worth the money.. it is so fascinating! You get your own tour bus to drive you from park to park.. and at the end..
YOU GET A PIN THAT YOU CAN ONLY GET FROM TAKING THE TOUR! eeeeeee love it.
Its 224 PER person? Ugggg... dont know if a pin is worth it for that........

Here is the pic of the pin. It's changed over the years but this one we got this past October.
So in that article, they dont really tell you everything you experience. So I will do it here
So we met in the AM at EPCOT's guest relations, and we got our cool namebadge lanyard (which looks just like the pin) and they took us to our bus. Ours was one of the Cruise Line motor coaches. They drove us around to the CM entrance of EPCOT, and all the while the guide, Mark and his assistant, were giving us juicy tidbits about EPCOT and such (like how when you're backstage, things are much closer together than they are when you're onstage--example: to get from Test Track to Mexico Pavillion would take about 15-20 min onstage, but only 5 min backstage--it's RIGHT there!). We arrived at American Adventure (the backside of it) and went on in--BEHIND the screen. They talked about the animatronics and how the scenes change. Then we went out front into World Showcase and they talked about the architecture and flowers and also discussed Illuminations! (did you know that they begin to prep for Illuminations every day at 6am!!)
After EPCOT, they took us to Hollywood Studios where we went INSIDE the costuming dept that you see on the Backlot Tour. THAT was as awesome as you would think it'd be!! After costuming, they drove us to Tower of Terror (the back of it) where we got to see how the elevator car works. It's amazing!
From Hollywood Studios, they took us over to the warehouses where they store and repair ride cars, animatronics, and basically anything else from the attractions. This is also where they make all their signing for the parks. So we saw a demonstration of the animatronics and saw some bare expedition everest trains.
From the warehouses, we went over to Magic Kingdom! Yaaay I was most excited about this part! They snuck us onstage for a bathroom break then whisked us backstage for the Utilador tour! We got to see all of it--amazing. So efficient and smart! Also they had framed posters of all the CM Lanyard series pins.
After MK it was time for lunch at Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge. We had the family style skillet so it was good. The wait staff didnt really play the whole "Whispering Canyon" part though. But it was still fun.
After lunch they took us to the Nurserys and greenhouses! This was the only place they allowed us to take pictures! So I was able to see ALL of the topiaries for the Flower and Garden festival that's going on now! (which is why I was so excited to go see them this March).
From there we went to Animal Kingdom, where they showed us how they prep and how they work the puppet/floats in the Jungle Parade. Then theytold us "well this is your lucky day because they are allowing us to let you see the parade now!" so we got a primo spot to see the parade. Now, I'm not sure if they say that to EVERY group, but it was nice. I never would have watched that parade anyway.
Then they took us back to EPCOT where they gave us our pin and dismissed us!
It was so much fun and I will definitely do it again!

It was so much fun and I will definitely do it again!DD I would say you were lucky on that tour, because I went on that same tour and we did NOT get a chance to watch the parade. After the view of the AK float warehouse we were taken back to Epcot where we received our pins and and said our Good Byes. Just to show you how nutty I am, when the tour guide AND his assistant was giving out the pins, He gave the wife and I each one, and the assistant went to give me a third pin I said OH! I already have one one, and she took it back. If I would have kept my mouth shut I could have had another pin to give away to someone who wanted one,(like JeffC or bella or someone else from here) Well that's me Mr. Honest. I was going to post a picture of the pin but ours is the same as DDs.
Bella- you crack me up.
OOoo, I love that pin, DD! Thanks for sharing a pic.
OOoo, that's cool too!
Thanks for the insider review too - now I REALLY want to do it!
