I haven't been to the parks in quite a while ... and I was wondering if they're still pushing DVC as hard as ever, or have they lightened up a bit?

the last time I was at WDW (in Oct).. I saw those dang spots EVERYWHERE..
do YOU know the best kept Disney Secret???
At DL there's only 1 or 2 lil stands inside the park.. (there's just not enough room lol)
But I must say that the CMs were not pushy at ALL.. only spoke to those that walked up.
They're still everywhere, but I'm with DD...they're never obtrusive or pushy. I've never had a DVC rep approach or stop me. I love that.
I agree that they still have the sales kiosks everywhere but they keep pretty much to themselves unless they are approached. Frequently when in the parks, I wear one of my DVC member t shirts or one of my DVC member hats and that's when we are greeted with a "welcome home", but that is the extent of it, no trying to sell more points or anything like that. Like the others have said, NEVER pushy.
It always shocks me how they have the nerve to refer to it as the "best kept secret." That being said I'll agree that they're not unpleasant about initiating contact with you.
Was talking to one on my last trip "home" and when he found out I was already an "owner" he gave me a button that said DVC member since 2004. Kind of corny but at least he was nice.
